RIGHT PERSON, RIGHT JOB

Kathy Thompson

A department manager hired a skinny high strung lady for a clerical position and placed her in the middle of a large open room with a lot people. Six months later, she had a nervous breakdown. The manager didn't know that skinny high strung people prefer their own little corner to do their job.

Hiring the wrong person today can cost a lot of time, money, and problems. By analyzing the personality on the face, you can hire the right person for the right job. Faces do communicate and reveal personality. This method can provide you with a unique tool for hiring for appropriate person.

There are already employers who make their choice of candidates on the basis of facial characteristics. This method is used in Hong Kong, Taiwan, South America, Western Europe (most notably-France), United States, New Zealand, Australia.

Some American businesses have requested a specimen of handwriting from applicants. But this can be misleading. Canny job seekers can make changes to their normal writing styles after reviewing books on handwriting. They may wish to conceal evidence of instability or other traits.

Analyzing faces is much more reliable way of spotting good workers.

How do you spot the correct person for the job? Here are some traits, facial features, and tips for hiring the right person.

1 - AMBITION
Most ambitious - large ears, with prominent inner circle High standards - protruding mouth & groove sloping outwards Enterprising - protruding lower lip

2 - DETERMINATION
The inner circle of the ear should be sticking out further than the rest of the ear. It should be smooth and round. The Face that is wider across the cheekbones. Stiff upper lip, or pursed lips, deep groove under nose. Square wide plunging jaw and protruding chin Indented pulse points (just above temples) Rectangular shaped eyes, orderly eyebrows (straight, thick, long)

3 - AUTHORITY
Assertive - muscles under corners of mouth moves or twitches. Dominance - lower brow to express anger or deep concentration. Power, Glory - protruding chin. Authority - High fleshy or bony cheekbones.

4- DECISIVENESS
Triangular or boomerang shaped eyebrows Slanting forehead Broad square jaw is suited to a job where action and initiative counts. Big high nose - quick decisions. Mole on chin - either side below the mouth. Indecisive people seem to see-saw their way through the day. There are signs to look for. Flat nose - slow to make decisions. domed protruding forehead -tend to intellectualize their decisions/ forehead longer than zone between brows and nose top - chronic indecision and defeatism.

5 - CUNNING & CANNY
It takes a degree of shrewdness and cunning to succeed in the workplace, and even more to stay on top.

A canny person does not rest on their laurels. They have a powerful driving force. Shrewd - long ears reaching below nose tip. Negotiator - roman nose. Sly & Resourceful - teeth that slope inwards. Cunning - small eyes. Orderly mind - bucket shaped face.

6 - GAINING RECOGNITION - MAKE A GO OF IT
There are many people who will do anything asked of them, yet they have trouble gaining the recognition they deserve. A big mouth has a tendency to overcome problems by airing them out. They become very vocal and may hurt others, then can't remember what they said. Small mouths also have a hard time because they bottle up their problems. By the time they speak up, the issue is over. Flat cheeks look good and appear confident, but most often they are timid, shy, and prefer creative work. They are reflective and work well alone at their own pace.
